Tens of millions of insect feet crawl upon my decaying body. The neverending trance inducing chatter reaches climax - workers and soldiers alike, come to a stop. They revere in front of their work. Aeons away, I glance around at the fallen tree trunk near the edge of the forest. I rest my hand against it, feeling their magnum opus: multitudes of coordinates, of secrets, stories of past worlds, stories of war and of peace, the keys to existence itself.
